Looking ahead to Pesach...🫣

Hello there my friend!

I hope you had a wonderful and joyous Purim. But now that the last hamantasch has been eaten and the confetti has settled, it's time to look ahead to Pesach (Passover), which is in less than four weeks! 😲

Whether you're an old hand who's made Pesach for years, or a newbie tackling the planning, cleaning and cooking for the first time, I hope I have some resources that will help you.

First of all, here's my secrets of a stress-free Pesach. If it all feels a bit overwhelming, here are some pointers to help keep things manageable and in perspective.

If you have vegan family members or friends who are joining you for Pesach, you'll need my vegan Pesach survival guide. Updated for 2025, it has over 40 delicious vegan recipes as well as general guidance for making tasty, nutritious vegan food that's also suitable for Passover.

I've also compiled a list of items that don't need a Pesach hechsher. If you're watching the pennies, or just don't have easy access to Kosher shops, it details all the things you can buy and use on Pesach that don't require special Passover certification. The list is longer than you think!

Delicious chametz recipes for Spring!

I know we're starting to think about Pesach, but that doesn't mean we have to lay off the chametz just yet. In fact, if you like to use up your chametz before Pesach, now's the time to get started and tuck in! So here are some favourite recipes using pasta, grains, flour, cereals and all sorts of chametz goodies.
